The Writer Behind the Words

J. Hart, the writer behind the TowerLand series is a married father of two living and working in the Netherlands. His main reason for writing ? To get his stories told. J. feels that money isn't everything, like Jake, but he has a story to tell. The story of AI. When not writing, J. is the owner/employee of Hart Computers, specializing in teaching people how to use Linux, as well as repairing hardware and software issues.

J. has been married for 11 years and has two daughters that are his pride and joy.

Recently, he has become one of the lead developers for a new Linux distribution that will be based on the Testing branch of Debian. J.'s main goal is to get his words out, whether it be in the form of stories or in free and open source software, feeling that freedom comes in many ways; being forced into one operating system with it's myriad rules on what you can do with your property is something he writes against in some of his stories.
